As a Pipe Lead you will set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
Fabricate and assemble metal through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools according to specifications.
You will repair and maintain metal equipment and structures of various sizes, ensure projects remain on time, and to customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pipe welding Pipe bending Hydraulic pipe/hose work Stick welding Supply normal welding tools (machines are supplied) Be able to read and interpret blueprints Work in a safe manner at a high production rate Able to level, square and align parts while someone tacks into place Lift and hold 50lbs and be able to set it down gently Climb up and down equipment to fit parts or to weld parts sometimes one handed Rigging and hosting with overhead crane Stand for 8 hours Able to work on ladders Work in the rain, snow, and cold Skills and Qualifications Strong capacity for teamwork (coordinate with site manager to complete work on time) Lead a team and input all necessary paperwork Good communication skills Demonstrate initiative and autonomy Job Type:
